EXW
Ex-works means that the seller delivers the goods when he places them at the disposal of the buyer at the seller's premises or at any other named place. The goods are not cleared for export and are not loaded on a collecting vehicle.
FOB
Free on Board means that the seller delivers when the goods pass the ship's rail at the named port of shipment. The seller clears the goods for export.
CFR
Cost and Freight means that the seller pays the costs and the freight to bring the goods to the named port of destination. The risk is transferred to the buyer once the goods have passed the ship's rail in the port of shipment. The seller clears the goods for export.
CIF
Cost, Insurance and Freight means that the seller pays the costs and the freight to bring the goods to the named port of destination. The risk is transferred to the buyer once the goods have passed the ship's rail in the port of shipment. The seller procures and pays for maritime insurance. The seller clears the goods for export.
DDU
Delivered Duty Unpaid means that the seller delivers the goods to the
buyer, uncleared for import and unloaded at the named place of destination
DDP
Delivered Duty Paid means that the seller is responsible for all transportation costs and duties and bears all risk until the goods have been delivered to the buyer at the named place of destination.
